Thanksgiving was a little hectic at our house this year, we had a few out of town guests all wanting to meet the newest family member. My littlest sister Courtney and her hubby Dave along with their 4 legged child Shadow were here from New York City. They enjoyed the warm weather before going back to the cold and gray. They are expecting their first baby in March so it was good practice for them to be around a newborn- no offers for diaper duty though, oh well! Katelyn is very excited to have another girl on the way. Also my mom headed back for the holiday, even though it felt like she just left. She was a big help to me after the baby was born. We of course had to be drug off for dinner at Manuel's mexican food. That is always her first stop after she lands, they should know her by name or at least as the lady who orders 7 bean and cheese burros to go, so she can stock her freezer until the next visit. It is actually really good food and we don't mind going, we just like to harass her. Isn't that what kids do best? We all pitched in and cooked way too much food, Dave's mom and brother and his family also came out for the meal. It was nice to have everyone together, we all have so much to be thankful for.
