My maternity leave has finally ended and so I spent my very first night away from Brody this week. I was kinda excited and nervous at the same time, they've made a few changes at work since I left. But not to fear, once I got back on the plane it all came rushing back and much to my disappointment the passengers did not finally decide to remember their manners and start living by the golden rule! I was hoping though!! :) Anyway, I was a little worried how Brody would react as he decided about a week beforehand that he was no longer interested in taking a bottle. Grandma came over to help out and it was a learning experience for us all. Needless to say he made it through the 36 hrs I was gone,and he didn't starve to death. He didn't make it easy for her either... so we'll just keep trying! I'm going to try to only be gone just one night a week for now and hopefully we can make it not too traumatic for all involved.
A really cool thing about working for the "LUV" airline is when you have a baby they have a set of wings made to match yours

I don't know if you remember us, but a couple of years ago we use to be your backyard neighbors - across the golf course - and went to play group with you at the park before we moved to Utah. I was blog hopping and came across your cute family! It looks like things are going really well. Congrats on your little Brody -- he's so cute! Also, I saw the cute picture of Penny -- I can't believe she's prego with #3! Does she have a blog? So, much changes in 2 years! :)
