Last weekend "The Sound of Music" was on t.v. and even though we have it on DVD and can watch it anytime Katelyn's heart was broken since it was not over before bedtime came along. I had to promise we could watch it the very next day and so off to bed she went. Well, little miss "never forgets a thing"(gotta be careful with that!) was up way too early, ready to sit down to some serious t.v. watching. From the beginning. Twice. I absolutely love this movie, and like her will sit and watch it on tv every time, even though we own it and have seen it a million times. It's a long movie though for such a wee one to sit all the way through. Twice.
So that brings me to today, as I'm mopping away I hear her in the other room playing with her dolls..."I am 16 going on 17 la la la as a rose, mumble mumble mmmmmm those!" LOL!!!! over and over never getting any closer to the real words and not even caring! By the way, so not ready for 16 much less 17! aye yay yay =)

Ohh I totally recorded that on dvr and watched it with Britt. This was a first for her, but beleive me that I was singing right along with the whole movie. Love this one! our only prob was that it quit recording right when the family was getting ready to leave, poor Britt was left in total suspense, so I had to fill her in on the last few min of it.
That is so funny, kids never get the words to the songs right:) That's awesome that she sat there for the whole movie! That is so funny that you wrote me about getting a pedicure, cause I was just thinking that I need one! YES, let me know when you wanna go! Anytime next week works for me:)
Oh, I'm sorry your little one is sick too:( No fun:( I'm sad I really wanted to get pedicures this week DANG IT! K well we need to go sometime!
