10 years ago.....

I quit my job, packed up my belongings, put them in storage then flew off to Dallas, Texas to train at Southwest Airlines as a SUPER STEW. I had no guarantees I would actually pass and be hired and there was no pay during the 4 week training course. Yikes!! I was dating Dave, who lived in Flagstaff at the time going to NAU. When I finished training and he came home from working all summer on a boat in Alaska we got engaged. Yipee!

5 things on my to do list........

1. Clean my house. There is just not enough time in the day, and I'm tired!
2. Get back into my skinny, skinny jeans. Yah know the ones in the very back of the closet that I refuse to get rid of cuz I WILL wear them again.
3. Make it thru one full day without yelling at someone in my house.
4. Visit the temple monthly
5. Take a family vacation and a romantic vacation this year,the sooner the better

5 snacks that I enjoy.......

Family Pics

ok so my sister Lisa was in town and I totally took advantage of an extra set of hands to help take some family photos. We each took shots with the camera and they turned out pretty well, even though Katelyn pretty much refused to look up. They have a bit of a catalougey feel but over all I'm diggin 'em. Thanks Lisa!!

Girlz Nite Out

So Katelyn's dance studio is on Spring Break this week(she wanted to know how to put Spring back together,lol). One of the moms suggested we get the girls together for something fun since there would be no class so we went to a local boutique called Girly Girlz. They had a diva day spa set up for us and the girls got their hair and make-up done.


Then we went out to a yummy dinner at Sauce for pizza, salad and pasta so the divas could show off their looks!! It was really cute and the reaction from the other customers was priceless.

Sweet Baby!

My baby sister Courtney and her hubby Dave had a baby! She is so sweet, her name is Addison Layne Welling. She was just born on Saturday in NYC and we can't wait to meet her.

Up, Up and Away

My maternity leave has finally ended and so I spent my very first night away from Brody this week. I was kinda excited and nervous at the same time, they've made a few changes at work since I left. But not to fear, once I got back on the plane it all came rushing back and much to my disappointment the passengers did not finally decide to remember their manners and start living by the golden rule! I was hoping though!! :) Anyway, I was a little worried how Brody would react as he decided about a week beforehand that he was no longer interested in taking a bottle. Grandma came over to help out and it was a learning experience for us all. Needless to say he made it through the 36 hrs I was gone,and he didn't starve to death. He didn't make it easy for her either... so we'll just keep trying! I'm going to try to only be gone just one night a week for now and hopefully we can make it not too traumatic for all involved.

A really cool thing about working for the "LUV" airline is when you have a baby they have a set of wings made to match yours
